When and where will the competition take place?
The Enugu Quiz Challenge will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2024, at the Enugu State Convention Centre, starting at 10:00 AM. Doors open at 9:00 AM for registration and check-in.
Who can participate in the competition?
The competition is open to students aged 15-25 from secondary schools and universities across Enugu State and neighboring regions. Both individual and team registrations are welcome.
How much does it cost to register?
Individual registration is ₦2,000, and team registration (up to 4 members) is ₦6,000. Early bird registrations before February 28th receive a 20% discount. Registration fees are non-refundable.
What prizes can winners expect?
The grand prize winner receives ₦500,000 cash, a trophy, and a certificate. Second place gets ₦300,000, third place ₦200,000. Category winners receive ₦50,000 each, and all finalists receive certificates and gift packages.
How should I prepare for the competition?
Study broadly across general knowledge, current affairs, science, arts, and Nigerian history. We'll provide a study guide to registered participants. Past questions and practice materials will be available on our website.
Will there be food and refreshments?
Yes! All registered participants and their guests will receive complimentary refreshments throughout the day, including lunch. We cater to various dietary requirements—please indicate any needs during registration.
Can I bring supporters or family members?
Absolutely! Audience tickets are ₦500 per person and can be purchased at the door or online. We encourage participants to bring cheering squads to create an exciting atmosphere.
What happens if I register but can't attend?
Registration fees are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another eligible participant by contacting us at least 48 hours before the event at info@enuguquiz.ng.
